Rajkummar to take on gangster's role in Pulkit’s next

Rajkummar Rao and Manushi Chhillar are set to collaborate for the first time in an upcoming film directed by Pulkit, scheduled to begin filming in September 2024. The project marks Rajkummar Rao's foray into the action genre, with the actor playing a gangster in a commercial entertainer. The film, rooted in Uttar Pradesh, will be shot extensively in the state and partly in Mumbai. Rajkummar is expected to engage in readings and workshops with the team in early September, with the film aiming for a mid-2025 theatrical release. Meanwhile, Rajkummar is preparing for the release of 'Stree 2' on Independence Day and 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video' on Dussehra.
