A case has been registered against the unauthorized circulation of the Hindi film Chhaava on 1,818 digital links. August Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. reported the illegal distribution of the film, impacting its theatrical release. The case has been filed under various sections of the Copyright Act, Cinematograph Act, and IT Act. Further investigation by South Cyber Police is ongoing.
