Farhan, Sivakarthikeyan were first picks for Sitaare Zameen Par

Aamir Khan's film 'Sitaare Zameen Par' had a casting twist. Farhan Akhtar was initially considered for the lead role. Aamir stepped back after 'Laal Singh Chaddha'. He felt emotionally drained. Script readings changed his mind. Aamir apologized to Farhan and Sivakarthikeyan. He decided to return to the film. The film is set to release on June 20th, 2025.
