Former MP rejoins Labour nearly two years after quitting over antisemitism
Monday, 27 September 2021 Former MP Dame Louise Ellman has rejoined Labour nearly two years after she quit the party with an attack on former leader Jeremy Corbyn for allowing antisemitism "to flourish".
Shadow Chancellor Rachel Reeves says the arrest of an MP on suspicion of rape needs to be a "wake-up call" and shows there "clearly is an issue" with the vetting process for choosing members of parliament.
