Teen's 'heroic' final moments revealed - as she tried to defend friend during Nottingham attacks
Wednesday, 24 January 2024 The "heroic" final moments of a student who was killed in Nottingham trying to protect her friend have been revealed - as her attacker faces sentencing.
The parents of Grace O’Malley-Kumar have blamed “failings” in the system for a series of stabbing attacks, including a sword attack in Hainault on Tuesday and a school stabbing in Sheffield on Wednesday. Grace’s father, Dr Sanjoy Kumar, said “positive change is so long overdue” after a 14-year-old boy was killed in Hainault and three teenage boys were admitted to hospital in Sheffield following the attacks.
