Nottingham attacker who 'remains dangerous' is sentenced to be detained at high-security hospital
Tuesday, 23 January 2024 A man who killed two Nottingham University students and a school caretaker in a knife and van rampage was told he "remains dangerous" as he was sentenced to be detained at a high-security hospital.

The parents of Grace O’Malley-Kumar have blamed “failings” in the system for a series of stabbing attacks, including a sword attack in Hainault on Tuesday and a school stabbing in Sheffield on Wednesday. Grace’s father, Dr Sanjoy Kumar, said “positive change is so long overdue” after a 14-year-old boy was killed in Hainault and three teenage boys were admitted to hospital in Sheffield following the attacks.
