Special constable sacked after viewing footage of dying Nottingham attack victims
Wednesday, 21 February 2024 A special constable has been sacked for viewing body-worn camera footage of two students in their final moments after they had been stabbed in the street after a night out.
The parents of Grace O’Malley-Kumar have blamed “failings” in the system for a series of stabbing attacks, including a sword attack in Hainault on Tuesday and a school stabbing in Sheffield on Wednesday. Grace’s father, Dr Sanjoy Kumar, said “positive change is so long overdue” after a 14-year-old boy was killed in Hainault and three teenage boys were admitted to hospital in Sheffield following the attacks.
