Israeli body says it would get aid into Gaza if its government opened more crossings
Wednesday, 6 March 2024 The Israeli body in charge of access into Gaza has told Sky News that more border crossings could be opened for aid to get to northern Gaza directly, if the Israeli government gave them the order.
Competing claims have emerged since dozens of people were killed on February 28 in a scramble for aid in Gaza, with the Hamas-run territory's health ministry saying Israeli forces shot them but the army insisting most died in a stampede.
France's esteemed Sciences Po university announced the closure of its main Paris site on Friday, May 3, in response to a recent occupation by pro-Palestinian students. The closure follows a series of protests fueled by outrage over the Israel-Hamas conflict and the resulting crisis in Gaza.
