Thursday, 19 December 2024 Luigi Mangione, the man accused of shooting dead UnitedHealthcare boss Brian Thompson, has agreed to be extradited to New York, where he will face murder charges.
Luigi Mangione has been indicted in New York for the murder of Brian Thompson and the grand jury has upgraded charges to first-degree murder in furtherance of terrorism, prosecutors announced.
