Will 'IDEAS' be India's answer to China's 'Belt and Road Initiative'?

Nirmala Sitharaman said India would provide more resources and attention to the Indian Development Assistance Scheme (IDEAS) to enable concessional financing for development projects in the immediate neighbourhood. During her budget presentation, the FM proposed to revamp IDEAS in the current year. IDEAS is seen as India's counter to tackle China's "Belt and Road Initiative".
