Education, migration rise behind dip in women labour force

"This decline may be attributed to factors like higher level of participation of women in education, migration, etc,” said minister for labour and employment Santosh Kumar Gangwar. ​​On measures taken to improve women’s participation, the minister listed the many provisions and schemes like the National Policy on Safety, enhanced paid maternity leave and Minimum Wages Act.
