Because of corona, all the labours from Bihar have returned to their home towns. Government did arrangements for their departure. They got so scared that they returned to their places. Neither did government do any arrangements for labourers nor did they give us any financial support."
Goa has registered its first death due to COVID-19. 85-year-old person from Morlem who was tested positive, passed away at a hospital on June 22. "An 85-year-old patient with a history of asthma, diabetes, blood pressure passed away today morning. He had tested positive for COVID19," said Goa CM Pramod Sawant.

He said, "This solution is designed for Govt to run their war rooms, control rooms and hospitals." Objective behind the development was to help patients to easily access information. Following the High Court decision clearing the way for the construction of the new Secretariat of Telangana government, the demolition of the old Secretariat complex began in Hyderabad. India's amphibious warship Indian Navy Ship (INS) Jalashwa, which has been deployed to bring back the stranded citizens from Iran under Operation Samudra Setu, has departed from Bandar Abbas port on June 25 with 687 Indians aboard for Tuticorin in Tamil Nadu. INS Jalashwa reached the port of Bandar Abbas in Iran on June 24. On June 11, INS Shardul had brought back 233 Indians from Iran. Operation Samudra Setu is a part of Vande Bharat Mission to bring back stranded citizens overseas amid the coronavirus pandemic. The Indian Navy had launched Operation Samudra Setu on May 08 to repatriate Indian citizens. INS Jalashwa and Magar have already evacuated 2,874 personnel from Maldives and Sri Lanka to ports of Kochi and Tuticorin. On June 23, INS Airavat brought back 198 Indians from Maldives.
A 9th standard student, Arshad, has manufactured a bicycle-shaped motorbike by using scrap materials from his father's automobile workshop in Kochi. It took him one and a half month. Motorbike was manufactured with the tyres, disc brakes, LED lights and handles of other bikes. It has range of 50 km in 1-litre petrol. Arshad spent nearly 10,000 rupees to build the motorbike.
A few churches in Kochi have decided to remain shut in view of the spread of COVID-19. Churches under Ernakulam-Angamaly archdiocese would not offer services till June 30 in Kerala, according to an official statement. "This decision has been taken in view of the spread of COVID-19 in the areas under its jurisdiction," said Archbishop Antony Kariyil, the Metropolitan Vicar of the Ernakulam-Angamaly archdiocese. Father Jerome Chamanikodathu said that the opening of churches amid COVID-19 could lead to more disaster. "Earlier we were asking for the opening of churches. However, amid COVID-19 opening of churches could lead to more problems. Therefore, it has been decided not to open St. Francis Xavier's church, St. Sebastian's church and St. Antony's church in Kochi and we will wait till June 30," said Fr.
