Vande Bharat Mission: India to operate 9 more flights to evacuate stranded citizens from UAE
Friday, 3 July 2020 India will operate nine more flights on Friday to evacuate its citizens stranded in the UAE due to the travel restrictions imposed in view of the coronavirus pandemic. Air India Express will operate these flights as part of the Vande Bharat Mission to south Indian cities from Sharjah, according to the Indian Consulate in Dubai.

Captain Madhusmita Patnaik announced in Odia language inside a flight carrying 215 Odia people from Sharjah to Bhubaneswar in Odisha under Vande Bharat Mission. Madhusmita is a pilot in Air India flight, belonging to Odisha.
Over 2 lakh stranded Indians have been repatriated under government's Vande Bharat Mission by Air India, informed the Chairman and Managing Director of Air India, Rajiv Bansal. "As on July 13, Air India and Air India Express operated 1103 flights, bringing back 2,08,000 Indians under Vande Bharat Mission. On many of these flights, we ferried back 85,289 passengers to various countries across the world," said Rajiv Bansal in a joint press conference in New Delhi.

We’re super excited for this new step of our life together and humbly ask your blessings and well wishes," Natasa had written on Instagram. The same pictures were also re-posted by Pandya on his instagram handle. Pandya got engaged to the Serbian actor on January 1 in Dubai.
