At least 17 people have been arrested for pasting posters criticising Prime Minister Narendra Modi's handling of the Covid-19 immunisation programme. The posters read in Hindi quoted, "why did PM Modi send vaccines of our children to foreign countries?" Congress' Rahul Gandhi tweeted the words, “Arrest me too," in both English and Hindi in relation to these arrests.

Hitting out at the Arvind Kejriwal government amid COVID crisis, Delhi BJP president Adesh Gupta said when BJP and RSS are helping people during oxygen shortage, Delhi government and MLAs are involved in black-marketing. "At a time when people of Delhi are gasping for oxygen, BJP, RSS and other organisations are helping people, Delhi Governments ministers and MLAs are involved in black-marketing and hoarding of medicines and oxygen. Delhi Govt and AAP are responsible for this crisis," said Delhi's BJP president.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has wanrned people to remain alert about anti-India forces who they said may try to create an atmosphere of mistrust in the country. ‘It is also possible that destructive and anti-Bharat forces in the society can take advantage of these circumstances to create an atmosphere of negativity and mistrust in the country,’ RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale said. On behalf of the Sangh, he also requested all sections of the society to contribute in maintaining an atmosphere of positivity, hope and trust in the society. Amid deteriorating condition of COVID-19 in the country, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale on April 24 said it may be possible that anti-India forces in the society can take advantage of these adverse circumstances to create an atmosphere of negativity and mistrust, the countrymen should be cautious of the conspiracies of these destructive forces. "RSS Swayamsevaks are also actively carrying on various types of services across the country to fulfill the needs of society," Hosabale added.
