DMK vision document: Kamal Haasan, BJP say their ideas, schemes lifted, re-packaged
Monday, 8 March 2021 Reacting to the DMK's vision document, Kamal Haasan said that the DMK had ripped off important points announced by the fledgling party.
Former Maharashtra chief minister and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis lambasted on Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi and said that the Congress and Gandhi family want to create an atmosphere of negativity. He also asked Priyanka Gandhi that if she ever discussed COVID related issues with government in Maharashtra where 38 to 40% of total COVID deaths are in Congress ruled Maharashtra.
BJP and Congress are involved in a fierce war of words over the Covid situation in the country. Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi said that the Prime Minister should understand that constructive criticism is good in a democracy and urged him to listen to suggestions being given by opposition leaders. Priyanka said that opposition is giving suggestions as there are certain things that the government has not done and it is their duty to bring it to light. Former Maharashtra chief minister and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis, on April 21, said that Nashik oxygen tranker gas leak is 'terrible' and demanded detailed inquiry in the incident. "What happened in Nashik is terrible. It's being said that 11 people have died which is very disturbing. I demand that the other patients be helped and shifted if needed. We demand a detailed inquiry," said Fadnavis.
