Congress MLA meets Punjab governor for action against cops for beating students protesting in Jalandhar

Punjab Congress MLA Sukhwinder Singh Kotli called upon governor Banwari Lal Purohit to direct the state government to take immediate action in incidents of students being beaten by the Jalandhar police. He also requested strict measures against those who have fraudulently secured employment by submitting fake certificates to claim scheduled caste (SC) status.
