Life of Savarkar, Upadhyaya to be part of UP Board's syllabus

The Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UP Board) has included biographies of country's 50 great personalities, including Hindutva ideologues Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji and tribal leader Birsa Munda in the curriculum for classes 9 to 12.
