A man of C V Ananda Bose's "intellect, wisdom and understanding of democratic values and the Constitution" was needed more in Manipur right now and not in Bengal, Trinamool general secretary Abhishek Banerjee said on Thursday a few hours after the Bengal governor launched a no-holds-barred attack on the state election commissioner for being "responsible" for the spate of deaths in the run-up to the panchayat poll.
