Will work with India for African Union’s G20 entry: Top US official
The US will work closely with India to ensure that the African Union’s entry as a G20 member becomes a reality at the leader’s summit in early September, a top US official has said. PM Narendra Modi’s proposal to include the 54-nation African Union as a full G20 member has found overwhelming support from the group of developed and emerging economies and the issue has been flagged in the revised draft communique.
