Tamil Nadu CM Stalin wants education on state list
Wednesday, 16 August 2023 Chief minister M K Stalin on Tuesday batted for inclusion of all matters involving 'direct contact with the people' in the state list of the Constitution. "The subject of education, particularly, should be transferred to the state list. Only by doing so, the cruel examination like NEET can be totally eliminated," he said, while addressing at the ramparts of Fort St George after unfurling the tricolour for the third consecutive year.
