Himachal Pradesh floods: Dam authorities at fault, liable for non-compliance of the DSA, says chief secretary

Himachal Pradesh chief cecretary Prabodh Saxena, while chairing a meeting on safety issues regarding discharge of water from dams in Shimla on Friday, said that the recent crisis in the state downstream areas can be attributed towards the failure of the dam safety check, which was either neglected or was not done as per the standard guidelines of the Dam Safety Act-2021 (DSA).
