Bengal man held for theft after Goa cops make fake ID of girl to induce him to reveal location

To crack a blind case of theft at Dona Paula last month, where gold and diamond jewelry worth Rs 50 lakh were stolen, Panaji police used an unusual method to nab the accused - they created a fake ID of a girl on social media, and after days of intense chatting, lured him to reveal his identity and location. They then went ahead and arrested him.
