Denied rakhi leave, Bihar teacher vents, suspended

A teacher in Khagaria district was suspended after his sister visited the school on the day of Rakshabandhan and tied rakhi to him. The state's education department had earlier cancelled the leave on Rakshabandhan on August 31 in all the government-run schools. As a result, the teachers came to the schools even on the Rakshabandhan day. The sister of Sunil Kumar, a teacher posted at the Middle School, Mathurapur in Khagaria district, had visited the school on Rakshabandhan and tied rakhi to him.
