Gujarat HC sets guidelines to decide if juvenile offenders be tried as adults

The court overturned the decisions made by a JJB and a children's court in the case of a juvenile delinquent accused of robbery. The court emphasized that factors such as the offender's mental and physical capacity and their understanding of the consequences should be considered when deciding whether to try them as an adult. The court also highlighted the importance of comprehensive psychological evaluation in such cases.
