Two bandhs in a week to cost Karnataka Rs 4,000 crore

Industry leaders in Bengaluru have expressed their disapproval of the two bandhs called in protest of the Cauvery water dispute, stating that strikes only cause inconvenience to the public and significant financial losses for the state. The estimated losses for the two bandh days are approximately Rs 4,000 crore. Industry bodies argue that these bandhs could cripple the economy and hinder its growth towards becoming a $1 trillion economy. They emphasize the need for protests rather than bandhs to address such issues.
