Passport seized, Tamil Nadu man hires Iran boat to enter India

Two engineer brothers from Tamil Nadu working in Oman were arrested by the police near Okha port in Gujarat, India, for attempting to illegally enter the country via the sea route. The plot was foiled by a joint operation involving the local crime branch, special operation group, and Okha Marine police. The brothers had hatched the plan after one of them had their passport seized by their sponsor in Oman. They had arranged a boat with three crew members from Iran. The authorities seized drugs and various electronic devices from them.
