Girl students' obscene pics made viral, probe on

Around 20 female students from a private college in Guwahati have fallen victim to cyber criminals who morphed their photos into obscene ones and made them go viral on social media. The college authorities have filed a complaint with the police and an investigation is underway. The victims suspect that the person responsible may have hacked someone else's phone to obtain the photographs. This incident follows the suicide of a woman leader from the BJP's Assam wing after her intimate photos with another party member were circulated online. Police have recently arrested 52 individuals involved in a cyber crime call center racket in Guwahati.
