More than protests, Cauvery row needs a lasting solution: Kannada cinestars

Kannada film stars in Bengaluru have come together to appeal for a resolution to the ongoing dispute over the sharing of Cauvery river water between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. The actors, including Shivarajkumar and Upendra, spoke at a protest rally organised by the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, urging all parties involved to find a solution in the interest of farmers. They also emphasized that artists should not be blamed for the lack of progress on the issue and called for an end to the politicization of the film industry in relation to such agitations.
