Many Indian students and workers in Tel Aviv, Israel, are taking refuge in bomb shelters due to ongoing missile attacks by Hamas. Worried parents are making frantic calls to check on their safety. Tourists from Chennai are also impacted, with entry to Israel blocked and some trips cancelled. The Commissionerate of Rehabilitation and Welfare of Non-Resident Tamils has set up helpline numbers to coordinate assistance for those stranded in Israel.
