How 2 men waylaid cabbie in Delhi, killed him when he resisted

A taxi driver was carjacked and murdered on National Highway 8 in Delhi. The two accused hired the cab for a trip to the airport but asked the driver to take another route. The driver became suspicious and asked them to get out, but they convinced him they just wanted the shortest route. However, when they reached an isolated service lane, one of the men strangled the driver while the other pushed him out of the car. The criminals fled to Meerut but were later arrested. They admitted to stealing the car to sell it.
