2 migrant artisans from Bengal lynched in Gujarat for ‘theft’

Two migrant workers from Bengal were allegedly killed by the owner and staff of a jewellery manufacturing unit in Rajkot. The victims were accused of stealing silver from the factory. Seven people, including the owner, manager, and staff, have been detained for interrogation. The police found injury marks on the bodies of the victims and are conducting an investigation. The accused claimed that one of the victims had previously been dismissed for stealing silver. The police are also collecting evidence, including CCTV footage, to register an offense.
