Chhattisgarh polls: Priyanka Gandhi promises Rs 500 subsidy per gas cylinder, loan waiver for SHGs
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, a leader from the Indian National Congress party, has made several promises at a rally in Jalbandha. If her party retains power after the assembly polls, she pledged to waive loans for Self-Help Groups, provide subsidised cooking gas cylinders under a new scheme, and offer free treatment to victims of road accidents. She also proposed upgrading government schools into English and Hindi medium schools and promised free electricity up to 200 units.
