Rs 2 crore for Mumbai man who lost legs in freak accident while urinating on NH

A man who lost his leg in a freak accident has been awarded a compensation of Rs 2 crore by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal. The accident occurred when a tanker hit the man while he was urinating on the highway. The tribunal recognized that the man's earning capacity had been restricted and awarded him compensation for the disability suffered. The man had to rely on assistance and could no longer perform daily activities easily. The accident was determined to be the fault of the tanker driver.
