Only additional CEOs can talk to media, says Noida CEO
Thursday, 16 November 2023 The CEO of the Noida Authority in India has issued an order stating that only officials with the rank of additional CEO are allowed to give statements to the media. The order warns that disciplinary action can be taken against officials who divulge information without authorization. The CEO explained that the decision was made to prevent confusion and protect the Authority's image. This is the first time a written order of this kind has been issued. Some officials have expressed concern about the order, suggesting that officials up to the level of Deputy General Manager should be allowed to share information with journalists.
