Devendra Fadnavis sets the record straight on Delhi ambitions

Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis had an off-the-record discussion with the media about his plans for the LS elections and a possible cabinet expansion. However, almost all newspapers quoted him verbatim the next day. Fadnavis clarified that he has no plans to contest the LS polls and will instead focus on the assembly polls from his Nagpur South West seat. Meanwhile, Governor Ramesh Bais has been without a regular secretary for three months, with the post remaining vacant for the first time in Raj Bhavan's recent history.
