Kerala among most financially unhealthy states, Centre tells SC

The Centre has described Kerala as one of the most financially unstable states, citing numerous weaknesses in its fiscal framework. In response to Kerala's initial lawsuit filed in the Supreme Court, the Centre has asserted that the state's financial difficulties stem solely from its own mismanagement. It argues that Kerala's request to raise borrowing limits is not aimed at productive endeavors but rather to sustain its routine operations.
