With fee refund, govt to help deaf & blind in STEM studies

In an effort to address financial obstacles and foster inclusivity in education, the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD) has chosen to reimburse the school fees for eligible blind and deaf students in grades 9 through 12 who are pursuing or interested in pursuing STEM courses. The DEPwD under the ministry of social justice and empowerment is planning to write to the departments concerned and the states.
