High court: Rename lioness to avoid controversy

Calcutta HC bench orders changing the name of lioness Sita in Siliguri's Bengal Safari Park to avoid controversy. The judge questions naming animals after revered individuals. He is also against the lion being named Akbar. Lions were brought from Sepahijala Zoological Park in Tripura.
