Meat, liquor shops shut down near Kashi temple

Varanasi Municipal Corporation officials conducted a drive to close 26 shops selling non-vegetarian food near Kashi Vishwanath temple. The shops did not have a no-objection certificate. The prohibition on these shops was proposed and passed unanimously.
