In Bengaluru, a businessman playing Hanuman Chalisa was assaulted by a group accusing him of disturbing prayers with loud music. Three arrested, two absconding. Dispute over music near the store entrance, alleged fabricated prayer disturbance. Investigators stated that the claim was just an excused to pick up the fight. BJP blamed the Congress government’s “appeasement politics” for such incidents.
