Samsung workers end strike after conciliation, to resume work immediately, says TN government

Samsung India Electronics Ltd employees at the Sriperumbudur plant have called off their indefinite strike after over a month. The decision came after a conciliatory meeting involving the Tamil Nadu government, Samsung representatives, and workers. Around 1,100 workers had been on strike since September 9, demanding wage revisions, better work conditions, and official recognition of their union. Workers will return without facing reprisals.
