‘Ex-cop’ sells liquor shops dream to retd IAS officer for Rs 98 lakh in UP

Former UP special secretary Hari Prasad Singh was defrauded of Rs 98.12 lakh by Rakesh Sharma and his accomplice under the pretense of securing liquor shop licences. Singh trusted Rakesh, believing his claims of influence and past success. However, when Singh sought updates, he discovered the documents were fake and faced threats.
