Himachal HC nullifies appointment of parliamentary secretaries, demands immediate withdrawal of facilities

IndiaTimes Wednesday, 13 November 2024
The Himachal Pradesh High Court has declared the appointment of six chief parliamentary secretaries as unconstitutional. Twelve BJP MLAs challenged the appointments, arguing that the state government overstepped its authority by creating offices not recognized by the Constitution. The court agreed, voiding the appointments and ordering the immediate withdrawal of any benefits or facilities they received.

Rahul Gandhi CLAIMS Late Arun Jaitley THREATENED Him Over Farm Laws | BJP Calls It 'FAKE NEWS'

At the 2025 Annual Legal Conclave, Rahul Gandhi alleged that late BJP leader Arun Jaitley had threatened him over his opposition to the now-repealed farm laws. The claim drew a sharp rebuttal from Jaitley’s son, Rohan, who pointed out his father had passed away before the farm law protests began. The BJP dismissed Gandhi's statement as "fake news." The exchange reignites tensions around the contentious legislation and raises questions over political memory, timelines, and accountability. #RahulGandhi #ArunJaitley #FarmLaws #RohanJaitley #Congress #BJP #FakeNews #FarmLawProtests #AnnualLegalConclave #IndianPolitics #PoliticalControversy #LokSabha #Opposition #RahulVsBJP #FarmersProtest #IndiaNews #BreakingNews #Parliament #JaitleyLegacy #PoliticalDrama #RahulSpeech #BJPVsCongress #FactCheck #JaitleyResponse #PoliticalTimeline #IndiaDebates #LegalConclave2025 #ViralVideo #ANIClip #JaitleyStatement Also Read Rahul Gandhi Doubles Down on Rigging Allegations, Says Election Process Is Over :: https://www.oneindia.com/india/rahul-gandhi-doubles-down-on-rigging-allegations-says-election-process-is-over-011-7818825.html?ref=DMDesc EC Involved In Vote Theft, I've 100% Proof: Rahul Gandhi's Big Allegation :: https://www.oneindia.com/india/ec-involved-in-vote-theft-ive-100-proof-rahul-gandhis-big-allegation-7817813.html?ref=DMDesc Congress to Expose Alleged Voter Roll Rigging by Karnataka Election Commission on August 5 :: https://www.oneindia.com/india/expose-rigging-of-voter-rolls-karnataka-election-commission-011-7817523.html?ref=DMDesc ~HT.178~ED.194~GR.125~
