Thane's Malanggad funicular trains expected to roll this month, cut 2-hour travel to 10 minutes

The funicular train on Malanggad hill in Thane district is set to begin services on January 25 or 26. This service will reduce the climb time from over 2 hours to 10 minutes, benefiting senior citizens, the differently-abled, and children. The project, which had faced multiple delays, will also aid residents and boost tourism.
