From 25 in 2023 to 15 in 2024, proactive efforts cut CISF suicides by 40%

Proactive measures by the CISF, including direct communication, counselling and a choice-based posting policy, have led to a significant 40% decline in suicides, from 25 in 2023 to 15 in 2024, bringing the suicide rate below the national average according to NCRB data.
