‘Systemic rigging’ by RG Kar ex-principal Sandip Ghosh: CBI

The CBI is investigating former RG Kar Medical College principal Sandip Ghosh for allegedly manipulating the procurement process and awarding work to favored vendors, creating a bribery culture, and recruiting non-deserving candidates as house staff. Ghosh reportedly threatened and took bribes from candidates for house staff positions, aided by his associate Ashis Pandey.
