6 ITBP officers among 11 booked by CBI for Rs 1.8 crore fraud

The CBI in Dehradun has filed two cases of cheating and forgery against 11 people, including six Indo-Tibetan Border Police officers, for alleged fraud causing Rs 1.8 crore loss to the exchequer. The allegations involve the construction of border pickets and transportation of power generators, highlighting manipulation in the tendering process and embezzlement of government funds.
