8 workers trapped as roof of Telangana tunnel caves in

A portion of the tunnel roof at Srisailam Left Bank Canal in Telangana's Nagarkurnool district collapsed, trapping eight workers inside. The accident occurred due to a sudden leakage of water and soil. Rescue operations are ongoing with help from the National Disaster Response Force and Army teams being mobilized.
