The Election Commission has announced a plan to resolve the issue of duplicate electors' photo identity card (EPIC) numbers within three months. A recent examination indicated that the duplicates were legitimate voters, and the EC aims to ensure unique national EPIC numbers for all voters before the next assembly poll in Bihar.
