Tortoises struggle to survive as Nampally lake dries up

Nampally lake in Hyderabad's Public Gardens is drying up, endangering its aquatic life, including tortoises introduced two months ago. Due to sewage contamination and summer heat, most fish have died, and tortoises are struggling. Despite requests for restoration efforts, no significant action has been taken.
